Store Policies

To begin with let me say that I hate dealing with businesses that respond to a problem with the catch phrase "That's just our policy."
Policies should be set to cover "usual" and "normal" circumstances to provide the customer in advance, with expectations of the service that they can anticipate and rely upon. It should never be used for the benefit of the business as an easy and convenient "out" for a quick resolution to a complicated situation.
If you ever catch me replying to any circumstance with "That's just our policy" I hope you will call me on it and we can reopen talks until we come to a mutually beneficial resolution to your problem.
"Policies" should more accurately be described as "Guidelines".
Each and every circumstance should be considered and resolved on its own and individual merits.
The following are my expectations in doing business with you.
Similar to typical live auctions, my items are offered here "AS IS - WHERE IS".
I offer local pickups by appointment to give you the opportunity to examine any item and then and only then decide if you still want to purchase it.
If local pickup is not convenient for you, I will make arrangements to ship any item to you.
 
However you must realize this involves you waiving your right to inspect the item prior to its purchase. You must accept responsibility for  due diligence on your part by asking any questions you have or by requesting  more photos BEFORE you  commit to your purchase.
I will consider shipping anywhere in the world. Customs delays and costs, if any, are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping, handling and insurance costs will also be the buyer's responsibility.
Please contact me for quotes before committing to a purchase to be shipped.
Under no circumstances can I accept responsibility for any items that are uninsured or uninsurable.
Returns will only be considered for items that are grossly misrepresented on my website so be sure to ask any questions you might have and ask for any additional photos you might require before committing to purchase.
If you feel you are eligible for a refund you must contact me within 7 days of receiving your item. Please indicate your reasons for requesting a return at that time.
Do not return your item without authorization. After authorization to return your item has been received, you must return the item in the same condition it was shipped within the next 7 days.
Refunds will be provided only after the item has been returned, inspected and found to be in its original condition.
Shipping and handling costs are not eligible for refund.
I cannot accept responsibility for unauthorized returns or items that have been returned in anything other than their original packing and condition.
If your item is lost or damaged in transit you must notify me immediately to assist you in filing a claim with the carrier's insurance. In the case of damaged goods - photos may be required. Do not, under any circumstances dispose of the damaged goods or its packaging until all disputes have been resolved. You may be required to return the damaged goods at my or the carrier's insurance company's discretion.
Compenation for lost or damaged goods is at the sole discretion of the carrier's insurance company. I have no influence or control over their final decision, although I will certainly do everything within my power to help you arrive at a satisfactory resolution.
If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, please do not commit to a purchase.
I have been an ebay member since 2002 and am very proud of my 100% feedback from over 450 individual transactions.
But if you would be more comfortable completing a transaction through ebay, please contact me about the item you are interested in and I will list it on ebay with a "Buy It Now" option and send you the link to purchase the item there. Please be advised that the item will be listed at the price shown here plus a service charge of $5.00 to cover ebay costs.
All payments must be made in either Canadian or US Dollars. I can accept payment by Paypal or International Money Order. For pickup orders I will also accept Cash. If you insist on sending Cash in the mail you do so at your own risk.
I can usually ship the next business day following receipt of payment. If your shipping option includes online tracking, the tracking number will be provided to you once the item has shipped.
